Greenspring Brewing Company has been a brewery without a home for some time now. Twopoint Studio first worked with them on two concepts in downtown North Beach, MD - but agreements to lease and function out of those spaces never took hold.

In this new iteration, the folks at GBC have partnered with Greenstreet Gardens - a farm-based nursery in Lothian MD - to provide a new 4,200 sf brewery and taproom as part of a campus of buildings that support the retail and green house components of the nursery. The product intends to take advantage of the recent farm-brewery wedding trend by offering indoor/outdoor event options for large wedding parties up to 500 persons.

The design of the brewery and tasting room will mimic the farm buildings and retail building already on the site - with a connecting canopy between the two structures to form a new entry point into both buildings. The canopy serves as a threshold to the rear beer garden and outdoor plant sale floor.
