MULTI-Family
As our urban spaces become more and more desirable, there will be an increasing demand for density in housing. Multi-family units allow for this density, from luxury apartments to student housing. We here at Twopoint Studio believe that multi-family dwellings are the way to a more sustainable future in urban development. This can include typical apartment buildings, accessory dwellings, as well as progressive zoning for infill development.
A large portion of our work is in the rehabilitation of existing buildings - typically with a focus on maximizing leasable spaces and/or unit counts. How does one take a historic single family home and renovate into multi-family studio apartments? Our understanding of code requirements for building renovations help us maximize project profitability while building urban density.
Our work in multi-family extends to multi-use projects, from very simple row home conversion projects with commercial space on ground level, to 65-unit new construction. Our focus on market valuation allows us to visualize leasable concepts in kinship with their environments, making for projects that meet their localized market demands.
